Day 1 Surat Thani/Khao Sok
Our local representative will meet you at Wut Travel opposite Phun Pin Railway station (commonly known as Surat Thani Railway station) at 0800 to commence this tour. From here we will take the local bus service from Surat Thani train station to our bungalow hideaway.
You have time for a late morning walk with your experienced guides into Khao Sok National Park or the option of tubing down the Klong Sok River in inner tubes and observing the dramatic limestone peaks and life along the river. Khao Sok National park features 65,000 hectares of thick native rainforest with waterfalls, spectacular limestone cliffs, numerous streams, an island studded lake and many walking trails. It shelters a plethora of wildlife including wild elephant, leopard, serow, banteng, gaur, dusky langur, tiger, gibbon and Malayan sun bear as well as a multitude of bird species. All the activities offered are optional so you can be as active or at rest as you wish during your stay. After lunch, you can take a walk into the surrounding area to visit some small caves and a village temple. In the evening, enjoy an excellent Thai dinner - beer and soft drinks are available for purchase at reasonable prices. The friendly staff are usually eager to practise their English with you and answer all your questions. You spend the night in your private bungalow where the only sounds you can hear are the rustling of the trees and the wildlife.

Days 2-3 Khao Sok National Park
After breakfast on Day 2 we transfer by songthaew (open pick-up truck) to the Raja Phraba Lake. Take a boat to the raft houses arriving for lunch after a total of 3 hours traveling. After swimming and tubing in the lake take a 3-hour hike to a vantage point giving a dramatic and panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding limestone mountains. Back to the raft houses for dinner and some relaxation. After dinner take an evening walk to observe the national nightlife of the rainforest.
On Day 3 we take a long hike into the jungle to observe and learn about the local flora and fauna. Lunch at the raft houses. Afternoon is free to swim, tube, relax or explore on your own or make a trip with one of our canoes one for the best ways to spot wildlife.

Day 4 Khao Sok/Surat Thani
On your last day in Khao Sok National Park you can take an early morning boat trip to one of the many caves in the area. It can be quite a thrilling experience swimming in a cave inhabited by thousands of bats! You are transported from the raft-houses by boat and pick-up truck back to Surat Thani (approx. 1 hour).
This trip finishes in the town centre of Surat Thani.
